Charles Spector

Growing up as the son of a defense attorney, Charles Spector always desired to be a criminal defense attorney. Upon graduation from law school at the University of Wisconsin, Charles returned to Arizona to dedicate his career in providing representation for those who are accused of committing a crime.

Mr. Spector’s practice is focused on representing individuals charged and accused of all types of crimes in the state courts of Arizona and United States District Court. His experience, like Gary’s, is similarly broad. He has represented individuals charged with first degree murder, sexual assault and sex crimes, aggravated assault, conspiracy and distribution of narcotics, money laundering, domestic violence-related cases, DUI, minor in possession of alcohol, and numerous others. Through his diligent and considerate efforts on behalf of his clients, Charles has obtained favorable results for his clients and their families; this includes Mr. Spector’s representation of those accused with crimes, yet not formally charged by the government. Understanding that an arrest disrupts one’s livelihood in areas beyond the courtroom, Charles often represents individuals in administrative actions, including representation before the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division, University of Arizona Dean of Students, and Arizona Board of Fingerprinting.

Prior to working as a criminal defense attorney, Charles served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Gus Aragon of the Arizona Superior Court in Pima County. During law school, he completed judicial internships for the Honorable Jennifer G. Zipps of the United States District Court, District of Arizona, and for Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where he contributed and prepared the drafting of memorandums and various legal opinions authored by the judge and justice. Charles also interned at the Wisconsin Department of Justice Civil Litigation Unit, where he worked on numerous civil matters related to civil rights, workplace discrimination, and torts on behalf of the state of Wisconsin.
